What data we collect and why

Contact form submissions

When you submit an enquiry through our website we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), phone number (optional), service interest, and message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to fulfil or prepare a services contract.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR — necessary for steps prior to entering a contract — and Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this website. GA4 collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, general geographic location (country/region level), device type, and referral source. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR — our legitimate interest in understanding site performance and improving the user experience.

Google Analytics is operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google's privacy policy for details.

Contact form processing

Our contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form processing service. Submitted data is transmitted to and temporarily processed by Web3Forms before being delivered to us by email. Web3Forms processes data only as necessary to deliver the submission; we do not authorise them to use your data for any other purpose.

How long we keep your data

Contact form data: We retain enquiry records for as long as the business relationship or potential relationship reasonably requires, and in any event no longer than six years from the date of last contact (in line with the Limitation Act 1980 for potential contractual claims).

Analytics data: Retention is governed by our Google Analytics configuration (currently set to 14 months). Aggregated, anonymised data may be retained indefinitely.

Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only:

  • With service providers necessary to operate this website (Google Analytics, Web3Forms, Cloudflare for network security and DNS) — each under appropriate data processing agreements
  • Where required by law, court order, or a regulatory authority
  • In the event of a business transfer, where successor entities would be bound by equivalent data protection obligations

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding legitimate reason to retain it
